Welcome to EPC Manchester
We would like to thank Alex and his team for their excellent and very professional recent completion of our Energy Performance Certificate.
Ms S Killen
HIP’s have now been abolished!!!
However, you are still required to supply an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) if you are selling a property. It is the law that the EPC is available within 28 days of the property going on the market. You must be able to prove this or face a fine for not complying.
The purpose of an EPC is to tell you how energy efficient your home is. The energy efficiency is worked out on a scale of A-G. If your home is very energy efficient and has very low fuel bills then you will be in band A. If your home is very low in energy efficiency and you have very high fuel bills then you will be in band G.
The Energy Performance Certificate also informs you of how your energy consumption affects the environment.
For example if you have an energy efficient home (band A) then you are having much less impact on the environment than a house in Band G.
We are now also able to provide you or your agents with floor plans, using the most latest software. This does attract an additional cost (see Our EPC Prices)
We aim to arrange your appointments with our DEA’s within 24 hours of instruction, enabling us to provide your EPC within a 48 hour period. Once the EPC is ready to be issued, we will e-mail you or your estate agents your certificate, however a paper copy can be supplied, if required,
